Here in Lufkin our academy has the Eastman X5 pop up blinds for $119. I was looking in cabelas and the same one is $159 I was just wondering if other academy stores had them for $119 also or if ours may be mismarked? if this price is correct they sure are cheaper than Cabelas.

Sams club has them for $119.00 in Midland. I shot my ten point last week out of it. It is one heck of a blind. Like the magnetic windows and easy set up. -

Cabelas has the escape DX blind for $119. It looksgreat because its 70" high, and you can stand up in it to shoot. I'm thinking of getting one. Anyone tried them?Comment

I got an Ameristep bighouse for $99(regular $179 I believe) from Wulf Outdoors in Center. It is huge, 72x72 and 87? inside, I can stand up inside of it and shoot. You can check their website wulfoutdoorsports.com if you are interested they have free shipping until the end of the month too I believe

I have an escape DX and really like it. The zippered door is hard to close up if you don't have both sides of the door staked down. The tabs for staking are small so I tied thin rope to it and it works great now. Also has a tab in the center with a hook on it which is nice for hooking a red flashlight to while setting u in it in the mornings.Comment

Is the material on that blind heavier than the original Eastman Carbon Venture's? Saw a blind at the TTHA show in Houston by Eastman that seemed to have a heavier material.Comment
