    How important is it

to get kids involved in the sport we all love so much?

    #2
    To me its VERY IMPORTANT...

To me our children are the future of our sport and the future stewards of the land. Get children interested in hunting and the outdoor shooting sports its two fold, they will learn firearms saftey and self defense and the love of the outdoors..and to learn what the land provides is a wealth of knowledge that deserves to be past down through the generations..

              Super important

Sadly we are loosing recruitment fight for the youngsters

FACT Over 1/2 of the US Children are being raised in a a single parent home 90-%+ are women it easier to strike a match on a wet bar of soap than for a boy or girl in a Mother led House to get to attend a hunter education class, get equipped correctly for hunting proper gear sporting arm license & permits, and get taken to a hunt.

Sadly today youths have PC Computer games, malls, mini gangs, rap music, hip hop music(?), text messaging, cell-phones, cliques, TV , INTERNET, Cars, Smokes, drugs, beer, members of the opposite sex in hip huggers & baggy shorts, that all compete for the child's time and attention.

State who year ago thought they were doing the right thing with MANDATORY HUNTER EDUCATION/SAFETY COURSES soon found this so called brain Storm slowly choked off the numbers of kids getting to into hunting and now man y states are allowing kids to hunt and get a license for a year to see if the like it.

Accidents have decreased and so have new younger hunters. SAD.

Does you child have BB's for his BB rifle or is he" OUT?"

Does his kids bow have a broken bowstring or is he out of arrows?

When was the last time you took your kid or grand kids out to plink at beer cans with brick of .22 shells/? bet it hasn't been this year.

Any one remember when grand dad or uncle took to out tothe country to plink and "Hunt rabbits & birds"

I do. Its important that we go out of our way to help gets if even they are not our kids to get into hunting shooting archery & fishing too.

well ill put it like this if my dad hadnt taken me huntin when i was a kid or if i had never picked up a bow and loved it so much id probly be gettin in trouble every weekend probly goin to partys or havin just tha chance to do drugs which ill say whoever offers them to me will probably get hit in the face and i guarantee you people know that. but instead of doin all that crap i go out and hunt rabbits or shoot in tha back yard or a shoot almost every weekend so i think its real important to get kids to hunt
