Sporting Clays in Houston

Houston/Katy area TBH'ers, anyone ever shoot clay pigeons out in George Bush park. Thinking abut shooting the sporting clay course anyone done it? Need to get some practice before dove season. I have only one this twice and not here so I am pretty much a novice. I usually go throw lead at the doves with no practice.
Just wondered if a couple guys would like to do this?

I have shot out at both ASC and Hotwells. I know Jum & Jeanie out at ASC as we host a Sporting Clays Tournament (for Special Olympics) each Spring. Let me know when you are going and perhaps me and my boys can meet you out there.
