Yea, I saw most activity the week of Thanks Giving. That is when I observed the most chasing. The next week was pretty quite, I assume the catching had occurred

I watched a young 8 pt eating corn with 4 or 5 does and he wasnt even paying attn to them, that was on Dec 1st last year. So I guess it hits sometime after that in Uvalde.

Last and first week of the year at the ranch by Three Rivers. Go about 70 miles east to my house and it's in November.

I hunt in Leon county and the rut is usually peaking around Nov 4-8. It really depends on the weather in that area. If we get a strong cold front before then it usually starts right after. Good luck this season everyone.

I hunt in Kimble county and the rut is usually around mid-Nov. Last year was kinda weak b/c we just didn't see the rutting behavior as we have in the past.

I hunt in deep south texas also and last year it was after christmas. Depending on the weather, it seems it is usually right around christmas to first of the year...

I see most bucks chasing from the middle to the end of November. Last year there was a lot of activity going on Thanksgiving week.
