    Arrow Tip Weight Question

If I'm shooting 75 grain tips with ics hunter 400 with (edit) 2 inch blazer veins.... if I jump to a 100 grain tip will anything else need to be done other than re-sighting because of the heavier weight??

Guess it would depend on arrow length, what FOC your going for,d/w,...other than that may not be much adjustments to be done with sights! I shoot some arrows at around 375 grains at targets, other arrows and bow I am shooting near 500 grains,28" ICS 400 with 100 grain brass insert and 125 Muzzy Phantom.Yours should be adjust elevation and have fun.

You didn't give your set-up but adding a heavier weight tip will weaken the spine of the arrow. You need to make sure that the spine is still o.k. based on your draw weight and arrow length.

if you like the 100 grain tip, but wan't group well lower bow poundage, like ken said it will weaken your spine.

Your spine should be fine with 100 grain tips.

You will just have to adjust your sight pins. The pins will probably not change much until you get past 30 yards.

                x2

at the distances you'll be hunting you won't notice a difference.
