    Tripod wrap material

Every year I have to wrap the basket of my tripod because the material degrades so badly over the summer. Short of a box blind, is there anything out there that will last more than one season? I'm getting kind of tired of buying a new wrap every year.

I've used burlap and that perforated material that comes in the rectangle packages at Academy. Neither are worth a darn and they are both just about see through. I'd like something that hides my outline and movement some but doesn't turn my tripod into a sail.

    Anyone know of anything?

see if you can find any military netting at an army surplus, it will last a lot longer

Do you leave your tripod out all year?

I take my stuff down at the end of the season and set it up a month before hunting season. I don't know what will stand up to the weather and the sun year round...

Yeah, it stays out all year. I took the fabric off one year and tried to put it up the next but it basically disintegrated after about a week.

I've seen people rig blinds with plywood covered with stretched camo burlap. This seems to work well and lasts a few years. The plywood keeps the burlap from flapping.
