    Ebay bill via email?

Recently sold something on ebay and got an invoice emailed to me today. Is it legit? I haven't sold anything on there in a while, but last time I did they just took it off of my credit card. Have things changed or is someone trying to scam me?

    What was the invoice for?
    The item you sold?

Just go to your account on ebay. You should be able to see your statement there.

That sounds like a scam to me. I would stay away from it.

Ebay seems to be having some problems with their billing - I spent about two hours on line with customer service - and I have mine set up to be paid automatically with Paypal, it just wasn't working right

          But besides that.....what Casey said!

99% chance it's phishing, somebody's trying to get your credit card info and rip you off. Like Casey said, log into eBay and check your statement. Scum sucking leaches!

Yup, check your statement by going to ebay.com....don't use any links that were in the email.
              Sounds phishy to me, too.

Its probably legit. Ebay no loneger bills your credit card automatically. You have to make the payment.

Like all the others said, I sell on ebay every now and then and and lately have been getting invoices in my e-mail. Just checked my statement on ebay and they were all legit. Just check ebay to be safe, there a plenty of scammers out there.

Probably a scam. Always do your business through your ebay account and your paypal account for that matter.

Man I fell into this scam about 2 years ago. I submitted logon info anf the next thing I know I had a $12,000 bid on a freaking dune buggy? Luckily custmoer help cleared it up and canceled the bidding for me. I had to register again and start over. Be careful.
