my wife, her father, and her brother. My wife, God bless her soul, has been run through the ringer the past two months and after a good day got some more bad news.. Her father was diagnosed with a very aggressive prostate cancer and had to have it removed. We have spent the last three weeks caring for him post surgery and he is getting back on his feet. Monday was the results day and the good news is its not in his lymphnodes.....however, they found a few small tumors just outside and they came back malignant. Still good news because the doctor said it is treatable with light radiation and not being in the lymphnodes is a big positive.
So fast forward to the next morning after two months of worry and one day of "good news" celebration about her Dad and she gets a call from her brother (her only sibling). He has a five week old baby girl, his first, and a wife at home recovering from complications. He tells her that he went into the eye doctor because of blurred vision in his left eye thinking it was stress due to his wife's complications. The doctor's says he see shadows in the eye and it's not holding a constant level prescription. He tells him what it could possibly be and of course, a high possibility is a brain tumor. Needless to say the brother/father is a nervous wreck thinking about the worst...his daughter and wife without him. They got him an immediate appointment to a specialist that is tomorrow am. Please say a prayer for him tomorrow, Lisa's father in his radiation and of course my wife trying to keep the rest of the family together. Thanks folks...
