What is a good brand of rum?

Sailor Jerry's Spiced Rum (recently introduced to that one)
...otherwise, I've always defiled myself with good ol' Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum.

Depends on their proclivities, but some drink Mount Gay (I'm not scared, so I'll go ahead and say I like that brand!)

I'm a Bacardi Gold drinker, but I also prefer the plastic bottle, so what does that say about me??

We lived 4 years down in Puerto Rico,where a lot of the best rums are produced...Al of our native friends drank Don Q...We have continued to buy it here in the states...It's great,try it you won't be sorry.

Cruzan Estate Light rum, 2 years old, 1.75L, $24. Its smooth and very tasty. Not hard to find either.
