    String suppressor question...

On my new Bear Lights Out, noticed that the string suppressor (I hope I'm using the propper term) is set up so that the string, when in the relaxed position, is actually bowed backwards. In other words, the suppressor is so long that the string is resting on it and pushes the string back some. Is that how these are supposed to be set up? I thought they were supposed to be either flush with, or slightly shorter than, the diostance to the string? This is a factory setup package deal.

On my Bowtech the string supressor is about 1/16" from the string....

Barely touching or a small space. I don't think it should push the string out. Is it adjustable?

You should only have about enough room to fit a credit card and that's how I have mine. I think that's too close

There is no adjustment, unless you cut the rod on the suppressor to length. As it is right now, the string is pushed BACK about a 1/4 inch. So, every shot, the string actually comes to a full stop ON THE SUPPRESSOR.

          Correct? Or, not so much...

correct or not, I get the best preformance out of mine with it haveing enough space to slip a business card between the string and stop.
