    anyone ever tried....

    Fresh jalapenos, fried up in some bacon grease? I am gonna try since we had bacon this morning and some jalapenos in the fridge...

          Chilis is now serving this dish. They bread the jalapenos, then fry. Served with some ranch dressing. Mighty tasty.

            I've always heard them called Jalisco peppers.

              Yup DQ makes them, they good there. So home made ones should be way better. They call them "Jalitos"

                        I didn't deseed them or put any batter on them... I just got the bacon grease hot and threw the japs on... pretty tasty

                          We sautee' jalapenos & onions together all the time either in bacon grease if we have it or olive oil if we don't. Makes an excellent topper for steak, chicken, pretty much any meat.
