    Hard Case?

what are the best hard cases for price out there

    #2
If I were to use a hard case, it would be the SKB... I really like them but with the airline restrictions on weight, I can't really use them for travel.. because I'm too tight to pay the up-charges...

Serious travel the SKB is hard to beat. For normal use and some travel, Plano makes a good case. Had my Plano make the trip to Baltimore several times during the 6 months I was there. Came home every 3 weeks by plane without a hitch...
Had it about 3 years now and it's as good as new.

I have several hard cases, but my favorite is my double SKB.

SKB is the greatest one ever in the history of hard cases for bows and that is a proven fact...

What up charges? Most airlines allow archery equipment to be checked as an extra bag i have never been up charged and i have the big skb case.
Sorry to steal thread but i would go with SKB anyday

SKB are the best, but I have used a cheapy Docosil I've used since 1996 with 3 bows, and I've shipped it all over TX, stacked it in the bed of pickups to hunt, checked it as luggage on airplanes and I've not had anything break. I wrap my bow in my camo shirts and stuff it full so the case will not bend if stepped on. I duct tape the locks closed and zip tie them if I ship.
