Hey this is David G from Saltgrass... if you call yourselves true bowhunters or archers then you must come out to Saltgrass on the 6th and 7th to shoot our field course and show us what you've got and we spartans will put you to the test and see what you're really made of!!!!!And if you want we can play for a dollar !!!!!!!

HOW TO FIND US:

Take I-45 south to the Hitchcock exit (FM 1764/FM 2004). Take a right at the light (FM 1764) and take an immediate left onto FM 2004. Follow FM 2004 to Jack Brooks Park, enter the park and take a right at the first stop sign. Follow the signs to Salt Grass Archery Club!

A New Look at Salt Grass

Our old ragged clubhouse is gone. The Galveston County Parks Department Demo'd it today in preparation for our new pavilion. This is our temporary registration center.

We held our Shoot Your Way Across Texas tournament this past weekend and the turnout was great. We had some of the best shooters from all over the state, including State and National Champions, and we'd like to thank them for coming out to support Salt Grass and TFAA.

We had 50 shooters and everyone seemed to enjoy the course and the shoot, even though we had a couple of bales that we didn't get replaced after Hurricane Ike that allowed the really small diameter arrows to pass through. Rest assured they will be replaced before the next field shoot! We hope to host two or three SYWAT shoots next year. Thanks to TFAA for all your hard work!/SIZE][/COLOR]
