We shot the African side today , it was cool!!!! some really neat targets. Going back tommorow & shoot American side , hope my legs hold up. Any other TBHers shooting ?

No...I had to wait while my shooting partner shot 50 targets...THEN I drove home! all in all, a pretty wasted day.Comment

I guess so , what kind of bow do you have , can it be fixed ? What happened to it did your string break? I know to many questions. Main thing is you didnt get hurt.Comment

Mathews Prestige...blew the string suppressors out of the bow, the AEP dogbone, stretched the string a half inch, and that's it...no bent axles, no bent cams, no limb cracks...yet only time will tell on those...I was lucky to not damage the bow.Comment

It shouldnt cost much to fix that. On a good note i placed 2nd on the african side w/ a 540 & first on the american side 566 in the hunter class. My son shot in youth and ended up 564 on each side . The targets were fairly close compaired to ASA. It was a blast. I also won a 18 in 1 Rienhart target as a door prize.Comment

We were there and had a blast. I shot well and we cleaned up on the door prizes. My son won the bow press, my nephew won the 18 in 1 and a release. I won a bow! It is a Darton Spector. Does anyone know anything about this bow? I can't find any information about it anywhere!!Comment

I was sitting at the same picnic table and 3 on the other side won a bow, a press, a release, and a target, while me and tha man beside me couldn't even win nothin. Such is my luck with door prizes.
On the good side, the Tyler club and Rinehart did a great job putting on a great event. That was the most fun I've had outside in years.
I spoke to one shooter who broke a string and bent a cam when it blew, and one gal who shot a peep out of her string, and a bunch of shooters lost and broke arrows. A bigtime fun was had by all I spoke to.
Kelly and the rest of the Tyler Club did a great job.Comment
