In case you missed the Georgia Pro Am shoot down, our very own Tommy Gomez shot impressively. The very basic summary: Tommy entered the shootdown in 4th with a 422 and 3 Twelve counts behind the 3rd places shooter, Danny McCartney. After 5 arrows, Tommy moved up to 2nd place, with a 492. He was 478 and Levi had a 487. Tommy was 9 points behind Levi and the only one to go to the 6th and final arrow round.
Tommy stepped up and shot a 14 on a grazing deer. Levi had to shoot an 8 or better to claim it. A 5 would have forced another arrow. Levi aimed at the 14, but ended it with an 8.
Tommy was awesome! Remember, when you are down by 9, you still have a chance to win it!
Congrats to Tommy!
