New ProAm Rules Posted - Speed Changes

Surprised no one has mentioned this. I guess you guys are out chasing that whitetail

New ProAM rules have been posted over on the ASA site. Aside from the changes Mike posted about, the ProAM rules have gone a step further and increased the speed limits for many classes.

    Interesting...

    Just saw this.
    Won't really effect most people.
But some will still have to push the ragged edge.

For those that don't want to go to the link and wait for the pdf to open and then scroll down to find the rule changes

Essentially all the men's clases that shoot 45 or 50 yards have gone to a 290 fps change. All womens classes and those that shoot 40 yards or less will stay at 280.

The lower 12 ring will be scored on all classes, unless a shooter calls the upper twelve before making the shot. This option is available to each shooter in the group even if he/ she shoots first and applies only for that one target and the shooter(s) that call it.

        290 plus the 3% = 298 fps.

Oh! I just figured out that if I stay in the men's open class, I can go faster at the state level, but then have to slow down for the Womens Open A! Dang!
Maybe I should just go pro and be done with it. I need some help with entry fees- anyone want to sponsor me?

women's pro is still 280, too.

I'm all about you going pro, Sis.

                      All Im saying, sis, is Mens Open 290 +/- 3%= 299 fps; Womens classes 280 +/- 3% = 287.

Seriously looking at another Prestige- feel the need for speed! I can't believe I am saying it.
