    math formula arrow drop

Is there a equivalent formula to determine "bullet drop" for arrows based on total arrow weight and length...?

for example if zeroed at 20 yds arrow X will drop y amount of inches every 10 yds ....ect.

    Thanks for any info

There probably is somewhere, but I use Archer's Advantage software and it will tell me more than I ever wanted to know! It will even plot the trajectory on a graph.

Fill in the blanks and it will get you to 40 yds max.

Well I used the above link, but it's not very accurate. It says my bow should have a 3 inch difference between 20 and 30 yards and my bow shoots the same pin dead on at both. So hmmmm.

It is a trad bow calculator , i guess you need one for a compound bow. Do a walkback tuning method, then you will have all your gaps . Put a SMALL dot on a target and shoot at it from 20 to however far you want and measure the gap from center of dot to the arrow . You need to shoot 10-20 shots at each distance and measure the center of the group. This will give you ACTUAL gaps.

Scroll down to CPU software and click the Trajectory calculator. This one is for Compound bows. It should get you closer. But as you can see, no bow will be exactly point on over a 10 yd span, although it may be within an inch over that span.
