Does anybody know if they are shooting McKenzie targets at this shoot or if they are shooting Rinehart targets?

Personally I appreciate the no speed limit. I'm getting tired of having to crank my bow down and re-sight because I want to shoot an event. I understand that some go overboard with the ridiculous speed but when I'm shooting right at 290 a 280 speed limit is just enough to screw my whole rig. If you are dialed in and executing what difference does it make?

Alot of difference, if you are shooting 290 and im shooting 246 dont you think theres a difference? Do you think it takes more skill to shoot at 45 yrds at 246 or 45yrds at 290?
The ASA has the cap on it when keeping it fair to all that shoot.Last edited by rainbow trout; 07-20-2010, 01:44 PM.

I understand that there are certain advantages to shooting higher speeds for those trying to win at strictly regulated competitions. However, I believe most of us shoot 3d as practice for hunting and having to change everything on my setup is contrary to the main goal. Don't get me wrong I love the competition but there should always be a class that allows a hunter to compete with his hunting setup without having to drop poundage down.

Looks like thats what your gettin. Im lost though, is it a hunting tourney or a 3-D compitition? Just saying that this ultimate 3-D range is not catering to us that havent shot at 40+ yards yet and that dont have magnification. Guess I better go spend some $$$$$ and get me a faster bow? Its all good. Remember there are alot of us who enjoy shooting 3-D but are not wealthy enough to have the top of the line equipment and we just get whipped.

If you had ever shot at ccr you would never question that they have something to offer everyone. The no speed limit is proof of that. My original comment was just to show my feeling about not having to change my setup AGAIN. If the 40yard shots are the problem then we don't even shoot the same class in other competitions.
