    Question for ASA Indoor Shooters

With the archery deer season upon us what do you guys and gals think about having some shoots on a week night. I was thinking Tuesday or Thursday night with a 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm line. I was thinking about DFW metro shops and possibly one or two in the Waco area (for Davik and Javi).

The game goes fast so we would be fininshed with the first line by 6:30 and the second line by 8:30. Check and see if your local shops are interested in a week night shoot.

We could do it...we're planning to run a league using this format anyway...maybe call me and we'll talk.

Lets do it! We are starting a leage @ On Target Archery in Canton on the same format but we can go to others too.

When was this decided? We were just there on Tuesday night and nobody said anything. Let us know when it starts.

If you are trying to make it like a circuit thing like the outdoor, bad idea. If you are trying to make it a local shop league type thing, then good idea, BUT you would have to have someone responsible for scores, payback if any and things like that. Maybe if you took the $$ out of the league play, or saved it til the end, then it might work. And how would a champion be determined if it is like the outdoor portion?? Lotta different questions out there to be answered I suppose.

I am talking about 2 maybe 3 more "qualifiers" and then a state championship in Dec. that will be two days at one of the larger shops or possibly at multiple shops.

I am just looking at options to allow shooters to participate and still get to deer hunt (Tracy and I included).

Depending on my work schedule me and my boys could possibly make one or two near the Waco area. Sounds like a good idea.

I have not made it to any of the ASA indoor events. I am not going to give up my deer hunting to go and shoot some targets. If there were some shoots during the week then that may work for me at least.

Be nice if someone would start something around the Houston area during the week.
