Hi Kevin, I have the same set up. I never did take the time to figure out the problem, but for some reason I could never keep my battery charged. I read that the solar panels from Moultrie were not the best....but that didn't stop me from buying another one. It could have just been all night pics of hogs and the flash eating the battery. After the season I got about 3 weeks worth of pictures with the camera set to take 2 pics, and 30 minute delay. I bought my first memory card at Target, but they are a lot cheaper on newegg.com

How did the hunting go this weekend?

That's a good reason to stay single - no begging necessary! I don't have to ask/beg/plead at all.

I went 4 times last bow season and dropped over $300 each time, I'd live there if they would let me! And I didn't even bye a bow there!

My wife once asked me what one of my rod and reels cost. She was wanting to get one for her Dad. I told her that since her Dad didn't fish much he wouldn't like the ones I have. But a GOOD Zebco (like a 33) was probably the best for him and would cost almost $30.

(Like I was going to tell her what some of my set ups cost!!!)

Dad's perfectly happy with the WalMart combo; it even came with string on it!!

Good camera. I got three myself and haven't had any problems with any of them. Very easy to operate and I've had no problems with the battery life. I bought the solar panels also but have yet to use them. I got 600 pics on one and still had half the battery life.

Kevin and Kevin. I have the same camera and it works pretty good. The solar panel hook-up I have found is just for looks. I had mine hooked up there and it does not work. My buddy sagebrush bought one just like it and I wired his and mine direct to the batt. Just drill a small hole in the bottom. Cut the wires and add female spade crimp-on connectors with both wires, one from solar and one from camera, together. be sure to get the polarity right. it works great, my camera went all season and is still going. I would send some pics but it is currently in service at the lease. any more questions just ask. don't worry about it voiding the warranty because the laser did not work on mine and I sent it back the moultrie and I questioned them about me drilling the hole in the bottom and they said no problem. Of course that was after I complained that two of their units did not charge till after my rigging.
