Zeke did his magic again and recovered this sow over the weekend at London Oaks Ranch. The blood trail was good and the little guy took Bisch in tow through a dense dense cedar patch all the way to the downed pig.
Zeke also did a bang up job on this blackbuck doe too!!!! She was shot way back, but quartered away hard and exit got one lung. She probably went 125yds with a very sparse blood trail.
He also found a nice axis buck and a humongous boar pig that I forgot to get pics of him

Was that a good shot on the axis? I've never shot one but would think that shoulder is tough. Obviously Was fatal but did it go a long ways?

Sorry! I missed this question when it was posed. The hole in the pic in the shoulder is the exit. He got a complete passthru, and that deer only went maybe 50yds. It took Zeke like 30 seconds, so wasn’t much of a challenge for him, but I didn’t know that when I put him on it, and I put hmm on every critter I can.
your gonna have to change his name to Zeke Automatic after running all these tracks, gonna be a helluva dog Bisch congrats
I don’t want to paint him into too much of a limelight. A lot of the tracks he gets on he isn’t needed. But I don’t know that when I start the track, and even if I do, I still let him run it out just to let him find another critter. He has trouble on some tracks too. I just want him to know in his heart that when I put that tracking collar on him it’s time to go find a critter.
Put Zeke on a small pig for me yesterday. I saw the pig crash and the blood trail was one Stevie Wonder could have followed with his eyes closed. So again, no real challenge, but it was another critter for him to find that I knew he would find! Just good old fashioned practice!!!!
