This is the only shoot I live close to. About an hour. I'll likely drive up 1st thing Friday morning.

Getting very close to show time. Belt buckles. Plaques. T shirts. Ready for you all. Might be the best range yet! Also Edith and Keith Bain sponsoring the team even Saturday night. Cash money!!! Last Man Standing Friday night. 40 or more targets to shoot on the Bob Lee and P&Y ranges. 20 targets for Sunday morning Trad Championship. A two tournament in one weekend!!! Yall gonna like it.

I should be there by 8:00am Saturday morning.

If you see a late 50's gray-beard guy with a purple SFA shirt it is probably me. I'll have a black recurve made from an old Hoyt Compound and aluminum arrows fletched with green feathers.

                  I need to modernize

                  I haven't been to a 3d shoot in 12 years....Looking forward to it!

Its a fun course and a good bunch of people here. Unfortunately it isn't the size of crowd this venue deserves. But it's a quality group

I enjoyed it and would have liked to stay and shoot another round but the first 40 targets just about did me in 😁

Not sure I had enough arrows to get through another round….didn’t lose any but apparently I forgot how to glue feathers on aluminum arrows. Started with seven and ended up with three that still had all their feathers intact.

Caught up with SJP at lunch and talked bow, guns and
the good old days. (His scores were way higher than mine!)

Was good jawing with you, Mike! Just so you feel better, I think I lost 6 arrows and all but 2 were found for me. Tough foliage behind those targets for those of that miss!

PSA for the deer hunters that attended Chester:

I ran the first ever (and unofficial, non-sanctioned) "IBO Blood Trail Awareness" trial. I left a rather large sample, akin to a liver shot doe. If you didn't see it then you'll need to bone up before deer season!

                            I can't lift my right arm.🤣
it was a great time and well put on shoot but I'll need a steroid shot and a lot of ice before the TSLB championship.

It was another great course. Our group shot 5 rounds on the Bob Lee and P&Y courses, and then the Championship course this morning. I didn’t shoot well at all, but I’m trying to learn a new system and I had fun with friends.

Shana and Levi put together a great event and i personally really enjoyed the courses and format. This one needs to be on everyone’s radar next year.

enjoyed seeing all my old friends and meeting new ones!
