Ready to head to the house. Last fawn was leaving. This big girl shows up alone. She hung around too long and gave me a good broadside look at 16 yards. She was skittish as hell and I aimed low to make sure and . . . She didn't duck. Sliced the bottom of her heart, 50 yard run.

Shot this buck on Friday afternoon around 5 on my first sit of the year. Had plans to shoot a cull that was there but this deer stood at 12 yards with his head down and front leg forward for way too long.
Really big bodied deer for our area around 160 lbs or so. The Palmer Recurve and Palmer Broadhead put a hurting on him.... 30 yard recovery. Lots of bubbles and a complete pass through.
