So I go to install the Vortex Viper 6.5-20x44 30mm I've had forever on my 338-378 Accumark last night with the intention of heading to the range today to finally letting the wicked witch breathe a little, and one of the dang base screws had stripped threads. I might've still gone for fun if it were a 243 or something, but even with the brake, I imagine all 4 need to be in place for a big'n like this Wby.
