I am not holding my breath waiting for this to happen, however…..

With the new Republican controlled Congress, it is probably closer than it has ever been. I think it would take 7 Democrat senators to agree to allow it to come to a vote.

There are enough Republicans in both chambers to pass it if they can get the senators to agree on a vote, even if they vote no later.

HR38 in the House would allow anyone with a license or permit to carry concealed in his state, to carry in any other that has a license or permit or constitutional carry. I think after Bruen all state must go to shall issue laws.

Without a current license or permit, the law doesn’t apply.

It also on the face of it, appears to override another state’s magazine restrictions.

At least this is interesting.

Although I’m not much of a traveler, and have no desire to go to the”forbidden” states, this is a good thing if it can get to Trump’s desk. He has indicated he will sign it, and I have told both our senators where I stand, for what that’s worth. I hope everyone else will take the time to do so.
