    BUL Armory 1911 Commander

Ok, who has one or who has fondled and shot one. Been hankering over this Israeli made gun. Everything I see written about them indicates the most bang for the buck. I want one in 9mm. They are supposed to be super accurate shooters.

Not familiar with that gun/brand, but you can get a well dressed Springfield for about the same money. Good looking pistol though.

Being made in Israel the refinements and accuracy, fit and finish should up there above and beyond other manufacturers costing 3 times more. Israel is known for their weapons quality and reliability like the Jericho 941. Now given the current situation over there these might be very hard to find.

Been looking high and low for one. Appears the only way to find or get one is direct thru the importer and shipped to your FFL. I really wanted to fondle one gently before laying down a grand. Kinda like you can do at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada.

Talked to BUL USA importer this am. They only sell direct. No dealers or distributor. They only take credit cards or debit cards. NO Zelle, NO Venmo. NO Paypal.
They ship to your FFL of choice.
The only question remaining is should I, or should I not? And which one? I'm really liking this one in black. https://www.usa.bularmory.com/online...EDC-p488572708

More interesting stuff about BUL Armory. BUL makes the Magnum Research 1911's and some other stuff for DE. BUL makes and rebrands some guns for Kimber, Springfield and Charles Daly.

So I did it. Ordered this one in 9mm. Already have a couple of this size in 45 auto. Will be my first ever 1911 chambered in 9mm. I was leaning toward their TAC SAS II 4.25" 9mm https://www.usa.bularmory.com/product-page/sas-ii-4-25-tac but they don't have them in stock right now. 6 month wait on the TAC so I got impatient. Do not think you can go wrong with a Israeli made weapon. They know a thing or two about fighting and performance. Congrats.

Yes they do. The BUL race guns are killing the international competition as well as bullseye competition with their Match grade 1911's and SAS II SL

So I got to shoot this thing and I am tickled with it. Best trigger on a 1911 I have ever felt. First 4 mags of mixed 115gr fmj Blaser and 125 gr Zero JHP handloads. At 7 yards the first 2 mags were with 115 gr Blasers and they did OK. After the first 2 mags and switching to the 125gr Zero bullets it came around and one holed about all of them. My 125gr load is 5.2gr WSF, Starline brass and Winchester small pistol primers OAL is 1.125"
Recoil is very soft. Brass ejects at 3 o'clock to 4 feet. very low muzzle flip. Even an old half blind coot like me can shoot this thing fairly good. I love this WSF powder. No flame and burns so clean it hardly leaves residue. The gun has fixed rear sight and fiber front and was dead on requiring no hold off or adjustment. Yes, that is 40 rounds thru that paper. Most of them thru the same hole. Click image for larger version

Nice gun! I’ve never heard a bad thing about Bull Armory. All steel commanders in 9mm are great. I carry one regularly.

I have the stainless commander size in 9mm...its wonderful. I seached forever before I found one for sale on gunbroker. The metal to metal fit is exceptional...very tight. Trigger is really great. I think its really as close to being "custom" has you can get from a factory firearms. Highly recommend it. Good Luck

After doing a little research on these, I will
move one of these to my ‘to do’ list!!
