I was trying to post a reply to a thread post earlier today that included a URL linked picture. But the icons in the Reply section have changed and I could not figure out to add the URL for the image. I tried using the “buttons” that are currently shown, even using the “link” icon, but couldn’t get the image to show up.

What changed in the last day?

So, maybe I didn't try to complete the process...I only went as far as looking at the "Preview" of the post and didn't see anything.

On the above post, I used the "Upload Attachments" button on the upper right of the Reply box. That includes the photo as thumbnail to the post.

I also just copied the link straight into the body of the post as straight text. That provided a hyperlink to the photo.

However, there used to be a function that would link a photo into the body of the text wherever you wanted it. That was the way to place a photo in the middle of a story. That sometimes helps pictures make sense, or helps the story make sense.

...and of course since my nature is the type to "keep pushing buttons until something works", I just now found the "Toggle Advanced Editor" (the large "A" icon) right next to the smiley button.

The Editor button opens up the links to all the posting stuff I was looking for. (SMH....)

If I upload pics and insert them in the body of the post, how can I get them NOT to also then add the full size photos at the end of the post? Looks great in preview then tags them to the end when I post reply. Help!
