Comehere and I went hunting today. We parked at 7 and went west . I jumped two 50 pounder, but no shot, so I yelled to get Comehere's attention" pigs pigs", but Comehere was too far to get a shot. We continued hunting still heading west so wind will be on our face. Got to this brush pile and saw black, got closer to investigate and a boar got up, made a shot and connects. I hit him at the back by the stomach , no blood ( only 3 yards away with xbow) . Boar ran west with my bolt sticking out.

Do ya'll stalk and walk around or set up bait and wait?
If you bait with all the nut around you may just throw your bait (money) away. Once all the acorns from the Burr, white oaks and pin oaks are gone along with the pecans you will have a better chance with bait
