That's the way it works at my house. Bring home baby animals, keep as pets till I get tired of feeding them then BBQ em up. Last time, critter was gone for over a month before the kids realized it wasn't in the barn.

My kids raised show pigs. Before that I raised my kids to like food. There never was a problem slaughtering one of their pigs. When my oldest daughter was 10 or 11 she told me she wanted to take her spare pig and make the whole thing into pork ribs.

It sounds like at least six folks are going out tomorrow morning, in addition to two friends and I. Is that too many to hunt one place? I don't know how to get to the primitive campsite from 1331. The three of us are thinking of hitting up the San Gabriel parking lot off 95 and heading east to the spot. Or, could meet up by the dam if someone could give directions

There are better places than San Gabriel/95. It's a long walk to where you would see pigs and would be an awful drag if you shot one.
Primitive boat launch, go west or park at the upper parking lot (horse barn) and go East. Also the point is good. Park at 6 and go South East.

Take 1331 till you see the water treatment plant on ur left. Turn on the road and stay right all the way down to the parking area with restrooms. It will say camanche bluff trailhead
