looking forward to taking my little brother hog hunting next weekend,this will be my fisrt trip to Granger without fishing gear.Any advice on where to start wither San Gabriel wildlife area , sore finger or Willis creek.Probably gona start right @6 am. ok i lied i think ill hunt am then fish then hunt in the afternoon.thanks for any info.looks like another night of tearing through this thread.

Great, will keep in touch! We hit the south side of San Gabriel at 7am last week. May do the same if the wind cooperates, or try somewhere new?

Out here with a deer tag now. Windy and cold is all I gotta say! Haven't seen any pigs but the deer sure are on their feet!!

Good luck, Texantax! We saw 6-7 deer last week, including a couple bucks.
