    Just returned and Wow, it's a mess and tons of prayers needed for the people along the coast.

    Yea I know it sucks. Just wanted everyone to be aware. It's not fully closed just takes a while. It's is closed from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am though

    Back from my Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) . Very interesting.

    A few cancellations but some good topics.

    41.88" fell in Dickinson in 3 days breaking the 3 day record held in Alabama (I believe it was about 34").

    Some of the detention ponds on southeast Texas were designed incorrectly.

    There is now talk to include non FIRM flood areas in FEMA maps along with adding Zone E to these maps for erosion.

    I ll get back with you in the next few days as I just got back home.
