    broadleaf kill spray..

I need a good broadleaf weed killer for 15 acres of new pasture, that will NOT harm the grass
I'm trying to keep. A rancher next to me suggested Grazon P+D but I can't get it without an applicators
    license, which I don't have.
Any suggestions out there on how to obtain a couple jugs of it or at least an equivalent alternate that
you don't need a license for? I have the equipment and prefer to spray it myself. Need to get this done before
the grass/weeds get too tall again.

Butyrac 200 also known as 2-4 DB is what I used in my clover plots. I had to use something else to kill the grasses.

I’ve got some Grazon p+d at the shop if you need some, I’d put 1 quart per acre with a little surfactant. I’m in the Boling area

            thanks, I appreciate it.
I checked TSC today, they had some 2-4D but only in qrts at nearly $30/qrt ! I need much more than that, at least 2.5 - 3 gal.
but they said the company would only ship it to them in the quart sizes. What a ripoff.

Find a store that is geared toward agribusiness instead of small-tract folks to get better prices on stuff like this. Producers Coop in Bryan, for example. Might be something similar near you.

Do you have a local co-op that can come out and spray.
might be cheaper. We have one close and they only charge about $30 per acre.

I think Milestone and DuraCor do not require a license.

You can get GrazonNext over the counter in Oklahoma. TSC, Co-op, feed stores, etc. Grazon will give you residual for up to 18 months. If you are cutting it for hay for sale, you need to disclose that it was sprayed with Grazon. You can't use the manure of animals being fed for composting.

The stuff they sell like that is usually diluted down for like yards and stuff. It's not the same as buying with an license.

Check and see if there is a Helena chemical near you. They have all kinds of herbicides.

24D ends up really cheap on cost per acre.
