on my bow the string lands outside of the rubber stop about half to two thirds of the time but only on the top...does anyone else have this issue with this bow or any other of the bear bows and how can i correct it? thanks in advance.

here is a pic of the string, sometimes it lands inside the stop and other times it goes outside of it to the right

ok havent seen that before I would check lean on your idler wheel. and then on your cam. hows your shots? seems like with the string that far off your center shot would be off. something there has a lean dont see how else it could get that far over though. Another thought is that the lean is just a little off and when the string hits the soft cusion it bends it over and the string settles on the side of it.

i just got the bow and havent zeroed it in but when i shoot well it seems to group pretty well...sometimes i have 4 to 5 arrows touching or very close...how would i check lean on my idler or cam? the string always lands in the stop on the bottom, i only have issues on the top...

lay an arrow flat on your idler running down the string and see if its running parallel to the string. if not the buss has to be twisted on either side that it needs to go. hope this helps with ur issue. if this is not the case then look at the rod that comes off bow for the string stop and make sure its not tweaked could have be a defecr the bottome one im sure is fine but if top one is bent to the left it could explain why string lands on the right and not center

are the rod mounting screws tight? could the rod be bent?

i put an arrow on the wheel and its right in line with the string and the rod doesnt seem to be bent or loose that i can tell...i'm not sure what could be causing it...

has anyone else had this problem??

Can you post any pics that show the entire bow? A view that shows the cam and idler wheel, plus the string stops, might help.

Best suggestion would be to take it to a shop that sells Bear bows and have it checked.

Could the nocks be so tight that it just bounces out after the arrow releases? Mine does it from time to time as well. Put something on your string that will mark the rubber stop where it hits it and see if that shows anything....?
