    trijicon review #2

well I've posted a few other reviews and I'm sorry to say that your superhero is not pleased after more shooting.

I posted that I was missing a bolt, I called Trijicon who made me provide SN information before they'd send me the bolt. Speaking to the customer service person I got the interruption and "I know what piece your talking about" only to get the wrong screw in the mail.

I moved the trijicon to my 2010 z7 as I've decided to get rid of the 2011 and was shooting great then all of a sudden I'm all over the place.

My son comes out and watches me shoot and says that sounds funny. I shoot a few arrows and he says it's really much louder then normal. Well I look at the sight and a screw has fallen out of the slide assembly. Problem with this particular screw is that they fill the head in with plastic so it couldn't be tightened.

    Overall . . . . . I love the gearing and set up

everything else is not at par with the sight it replaced. I would not recommend this sight to everyone as it stands now. The only advantage is the tritium pin doesn't glow like a lit pin but candidly I'm not mad enough at pigs to spend that much time needing a well lit pin.

My previous sight was great through shooting light so if I start having problems getting this fixed then I'll be back on my sword centurion in a heartbeat.

that's kinda shocking to hear about the quality on that sight is not up to par, esp. paying what you do for those sights...to bad...

I am very disappointed to read this, especially knowing how much this product costs. I am wondering if you have sent any feedback to Trijicon, and explained what you think the short comings are? Will you be keeping this on your bow to hunt with this on your primary bow, provided they can make it right for you? Thanks for the honest product evaluation.

sorry to see you're having problems.. they seem to be hit or miss from the reviews I've read.. I'm still shooting mine with my only gripe being the visibility of the bubble

Hmm, I was just looking at this sight today, when I got the new catalog from Cabela's.

Thanks for the post and sorry to hear about your headache.

I want a maximum of 4 screws or bolts on my hunting sight, besides the pin adjustment screws.
In my opinion, in our quest to be the'ultimate bowhunter', we are introducing too many failure prone parts.
It's not that complicated to kill an animal at responsible bowhunting ranges.

Too much money for a sight IMO!

Looks like a over priced HHA to me. I'll stick with the $20 lights instead
