I need to re-fletch some arrows and I'm thinking about buying the Arizona EZ fletch. Anyone had any bad experiences with the jig? Also wanted to know what is the best type of glue to use??

I had one but didn't like it. Functional? Sure. But I had trouble getting all my vanes on evenly. One would be 1/4" from the nock, the others maybe 1/2". Still shot fine, but I am a perfectionist. The other problem was that I kept getting glue stuck to the jig, and at some point, somehow, I managed to screw up the hinges and it basically welded itself shut.

I have had great success with my EZFletch jigs. I have a straight, a helical, and a mini, and all of them work great. I just used my helical to glue on a half-dozen 3" Fusions. Worked like a charm, and quick, as well. I am using Gorilla Super Glue. If the vanes are thin, then they can change position before you close the arms, and come out of alignment. The Fusions are pretty thick, and fit snug, so they don't move at all.

I have the EZ-Mini and have had great success with it. It's easy to use, positions the blazers perfectly on the arrow, and according to my hillbilly math will fletch blazers on your arrows 3X faster than anything other jig out there.
The EZ-Mini is a one trick pony, but it has a pretty good trick.

I was going to get an ez fletch but found a better deal on the bohning tower. So I dont know about the ez fletch but I do like the tower. It has its own stand and is easy to use.
I can tell you that I used the carbon express glue and didnt like it much. Out of 10 arrows done at the same time, with about a week of drying/curing time, I had 2 vanes come off with the first shot. they went back on the tower with the same glue but were reinforced on both ends with a dab of super glue, instead of the carbon express glue. Plus the carbon express dried white. Fine for the practice arrows but will change for my hunting arrows.
