You can't make a decent living at that and that's why young people don't want to do this type of work. If they were all shipped back to Mexico tomorrow housing prices would skyrocket and you'd see the younger generation wanting to do manual labor for good wages. I was paying subs more money 20 years ago than these guys are making now. If they were invading other professions the way they are construction people would be screaming that their cutting in to their pay checks.
The price of homes wouldn’t skyrocket. The profit margin builders have would be smaller.

Would probably be a little bit of both. But cost of homes and other goods would definitely go up....which they should

I saw last nite on the local news most of these illegals are being released on their own recognizance with hearing set about 4 months from now. Wonder how many will show up for their hearing? News said that only the ones with prior criminal history would be held for now. I'm thinking WTH? All these people are here illegally and with fake fraudulent documents. That in itself makes them all have a criminal history. The knowingly broke our laws. They are criminals plain and simple by nature of what they are doing. The company's owners and management who are in cahoots should also be prosecuted and held to the maximum penalty. WAKE UP AMERICA!

Wonder what would happen if any of us did not show up for a court date?

Wonder what would happen to any of us if we used a fake social security number or falsified other documents? Like simple bank accounts or loan documents. You know, the same stuff Manafort and Cohen are getting jammed up for.

My question is, why the double standard? Some folks get jammed up and others it's no big deal.

The double standards is what is so upsetting and should **** off every American citizen.

                  .
Identity fraud and Social Security fraud carry 15 and 5 years respectively. Add in another few things and the fact that multiple crimes were committed then 20 to 25 years for the average US citizen. These illegals will get off with a free pass to citizenship or deported at worst. Sad isn't it?

Remember these are federal crimes and not state where they would be plead down to minimums. Federal crime penalties are usually much harsher but in this case they will mostly all get off.

These people have committed both federal and state crimes and should be prosecuted on both the the max and then put on floating prison ships to parts unknown along with their employers. Get them the hail off US soil!!!!!!!!!!

I went to jail in 1993 for driving with no insurance. I did not have an accident and was not speeding. I got pulled over because I did not have a plate on my front bumper.Cost my nearly 700 to get out after I spent the weekend in there. Now I'm a fireman and I work vehicle accidents several times a year where an illegal with jo ID, no insurance, at fault where they caused thousands in damage to someone and the cops will let them walk away from the accident or get a ride with out consequence.

In my county, if every non insured driver went to jail, there wouldn’t be room for anyone else. The problem has gotten so bad it can’t be enforced.

My guess is they were tipped of by this new whacko far left...'way too many illegal aliens from Mexico hoarding the good blue collar jobs & we have 4000 OTM's from central America crossing every day. THEY deserve these jobs!!'

Lotsa whole lotta weird in that article:

"This administration has moved away from audits and started using these tactics of raids that I hadn't seen since I was a child," he said. "I think the raid is more of a sensational way of reaching a certain objective, but I don't know what the government's objective is."

                          whiskey tango foxtrot??

People at the company were wearing one of three colored wristbands: green for authorized employees, blue for law enforcement personnel and yellow for people who were suspected of working illegally.
ICE agents searched and handcuffed the people with yellow wristbands and escorted them onto at least four buses behind the building.
