Won't hold you to this, but what is your best guess for total needed for bugs this year. This might help others interested in contributing for a great cause
Cheers to ya and looking forward to seeing you at Bownanza
Mr Tom, In past years, 500+ people would show up and I’d bring 12 sacks (approx. 400 lbs). Last year I’m guessing 150 ppl showed up and I brought 8 sacks / 275 lbs and there may have been 10-15 lbs leftover. I’m guessing 9-10 sacks this year taking into consideration the limited number of food teams. I’ll bring whatever we need to keep my people fed well
Current market price according to my fisherman friend is $3.25 / lbs. ($110 per sack) I’ve paid anywhere from $50 to $75 per sack in the past during BNZA week . Cold weather and rain is not good for crawfish prices. Temps in the 70’s will greatly reduce prices.
I'm always in for $100 cash for the bugs. I have no skills or equipment to offer. I will do unskilled manual labor kinda early and during the day. I'll bring lots of trash bags and beer and and follow orders from those running the operation without complaints. Y'all add suggestions.
We didn’t know what we were doing last year but we just worked together and had fun with our supervisor Mike directing us .
thx to you and others contributing to the funds, greatly appreciated
last week crawfish were $200 per sack many restaurants are still not open and/or serving due to supply
in the past, we've paid around $70 as the prices will go down in the next 6-7 weeks

As of now I’m in and will be bringing the crawfish with Cajun Blake. I always put in money on the crawfish but I have access to more coolers and trash bags if we need any extra then what’s been spoken for.
I can also get the T-shirts made at the company I work for but I’d rather someone make a little money with a smaller operation that’s tied to the team.
If it comes down to online business getting them done then I can price check mine and see if I can get them done cheaper or a better quality shirt for a similar price.
It would be cool to incorporate the TBH logo on our shirts(if that’s appropriate).
