Putting the Hurt to a Freak Buck (With Video)

Hunted our family place in Bryan this past weekend. This buck came in at first light Sunday morning. I didn't waste much time framing him on the camera, drawing and lettin'er fly. He made it a short 80 yards with a blood trail a blind man (or my 3 year old son, Nathan) could follow.

As soon as I found the buck, I ran back to the house and picked up Nathan so that he could experience that which we talk about (and watch videos of) every night before bed. It was difficult to edit down the video of him trailing the buck for me - his first blood trail. That video is about three minutes. I made another, shorter clip without the trailing - about 40 seconds. Take your pick.

tex......that was sooooo cool....my little guy is 3 also ....and the questions and manorism of nathan is almost exactly like my boy ......it is the neatest thing in the world to bring them up doing what you and i love .... and see the expressions they come up with ......my hats off to you my friend ........if you need some pig killing action ....give me a hollar .....daddy in laws place in caldwell is infested ....brad ...............daddy its too heavy!
