    B&B rent, how much

So we are almost ready to rent out our lodge/cabin at our ranch for weekend getaways. The problem is we have no idea what is a reasonable price. Here are some details.
2500 acres of hills and views
    20 miles of roads
    Suitable for horses/ biking/hiking
Lots of critters and flowers to photograph
    Minor fishing opportunities
    Great star gazing
Very peaceful w/ great sunset views
    Big fire pit.
The cabin is a 3/2 house that is ranch rustic but nice and fully modern with all appliances. One room has 1 bunk bed one has 1 bunk and a single, and the master has a queen and a bunk. So you can sleep 8.
64 ft covered deck with hammock for relaxing.
I am sure I am forgetting something.
We are 3.5 hrs from Dallas, 1 from Abilene and 2 hrs from Lubbock.
What do you think we should charge for a 2 night stay, we would allow longer stays if requested. I live on the ranch so I would be available to assist guests. Appreciate any feedback.

Buddy of mine owns a place in the hills of Wimberley. Their house is quite a bit bigger I think it sleeps 10 but it has a hot tub and I think a pool with a fire pit. Acreage is smaller but house is a bit bigger sq footage wise. They charge 350 a night for us and 4 to 500 a night to random guests. Not sure if this helps but by the sound of it I'd say you could get business at 250 to 300 a night maybe more.

look at vrbo around you and see what looks like the going rate. Personally I would gladly pay $350 plus a night to be secluded and have wildlife. Might try to focus and provide birding opportunities etc so folks can look for specific need?. Good luck, let me know what you end up doing!!

consider a three of four night stay, minimum.

are you planning to hire a cleaning crew?

the hospitality industry can be fun, but will also make you question your sanity after dealing with some folks.

And don't forget to increase your prices during the eclipse next year!

We are considering 2-3K per night for our places in Llano. b

It depends if you are close to a “destination”. If you are close to Wimberly/Kerrville/ or any of the big micro brewery- distillery- winery tour areas. Where exactly are you talking about would probably help.

Sounds like your north of abilene, in the haskell area. Not alot in that area that really attracts people like the hill country.
