Made it through the Bighorn mountains today and now parked at the Buffalo Bill state park for the next few days.

The BB sp has water and electric, but not full hook up. Also has quarter fed showers.

On another note. We added an Amazon camera to this trailer that was already pre-prepped for a namebrand camera. For those of you thinking about doing this it’s really close to a game changer. Being able to watch traffic from the rear and know when to switch lanes and use the camera when backing up is really nice feature and I can’t see being without it now that Ive had it.

And another thought. I know there are bigger and better and badder out there.

But this truck is handling this job just fine. I’m manually dropping out 6th for the hills and mountains, which is working great. Other than that it’s towing it wonderfully and I couldn’t be happier with its performance.

OK maybe I could, but not at this price point [emoji51].

2019 F-250 6.7 with a 3.55 gears with Timbrens and a factory overload spring ( which the timbrens have rendered useless when the bed is moderately loaded).

For those without the factory overload Spring, who are nose High when towing I can definitely recommend the Timbren suspension enhancers it has helped, along with a good hitch to stabilize this load .

My last truck had airbags and personally, unless you’re needing to adjust up and down these timberlands slide right in the middle of hassle free without having to worry about air leaks, or blown bags .

I’m gonna keep that in mind when I get my new trailer.

Can’t imagine needing to drop out 6th with that trailer.

            I’m on my 2nd 6.7 with 3.55’s

What camera is that DaveC? I might need to add one. Trailer has the furrion camera but they didn’t give us the monitor

We just did 4 nights in Galveston. Weather wasn’t great, was amazing Monday when we checked out. No pictures of our setup but I did grill some great oysters Rockefeller

                    I guess I don’t have to.
But I prefer the engine to be around 2000 + RPMs and not bogging down or switching gears like it does if I leave 6th in play.

These elevations suck the wind outta six gear imo.

Btw, and on another note. Can’t remember if it was in the hitch’s owners manual or something I picked up off of YouTube,- but turning the trucks anti-sway control OFF when towing a bumper pull that has a sway control hitch really helps keep the truck from fighting the hitch. Seems to be working swell. I just have to remember to find it and turn it off each time I restart the truck, which it isn’t often when in go mode.

This was from Lake Tyler last weekend and we are in our last two days at lackland AFB. Haven't gotten a picture of the set up here because there ain't much of a view. Have used the Ninja woodfire grill twice now and I am sold on this thing. Grilling is so easy and fast. Can't wait to smoke on it.

Thanks, it’s definitely purty country out here. The lack of roadside trash is the first thing I realized early on in this trip.

Texasbib, it’s a AMTIFO. You were the second guy I have come across saying his rig came with the camera but no monitor. That’s curious to me. Do you have one of these on the back?

I really can’t really recommend the brand I bought as it cuts out periodically. But it’s not that often. If you already have a camera, I would just stick with that brand for the monitor. The AMTIFO has a lot of options, waaay too many to comprehend. Luckily, for me, it works without having to figure all the buttons out.

One day of Yellowstone knocked out 12 hours in the park. Seen all you can see critter wise- numerous elk, , mule deer, bighorn sheep, buffalo, moose, two grizzlies, three black bears, two black bear cubs, no wolves yet, but we’re still looking!

Just upgraded from a Clipper pop-up to an East to West Silver Lake. Now I get 4 actual walls and a bathroom door .

                            Time to start camping again.

Thinking about taking a trip this summer to Southwest Colorado, does anyone have any recommendations on a RV park? Our 5th wheel is 39’.
                              TIA
