Pretty sure they were a site sponsor here before Covid hit. Saw some great reviews. The guy who put our trip together this will be his 5th trip over with them. We have a group of 12 going

That's good in theory........and hopefully, it can work out for you.

For us, not so much, thanks to Covid. In May 2021, we had a 14 hr layover in Frankfurt, Germany and thought we'd be able to do the same......NOT
Covid had the airport basically locked down, and there was no leaving the airport, without enduring a 7 day quarantine period and another Covid test, prior to re-entry. Not only that, but at least half of the shops/restaurants/bars were completely shut down. It was like a ghost town in there. That was one LOOONG, boring layover.
We were originally booked to fly non-stop from Atlanta to J'berg, but the airline screwed us over, when they cancelled our previously booked flight, and left us scrambling to find another one for our travel date.
No matter, the flight still sucks, but the payoff is so worth it. Hope everyone has a great trip, just like we did!!

We’re going Aug 2 to Port Elizabeth!
        Looking at flights now.
Going for 8 days with Wik Coetzee.
        Kudu, gemsbock, zebra.
Gonna do a couple days of excursions as well, couple of parks.
First trip over, gonna use smoke pole. Have been told to expect some long shots on a few.
        150k acres in mountains.
Gonna be nice to not be in flat land desert.
Flights are proving difficult thus far for alignment from Dfw to JBurg.
What are you guys doing on flights ?

Going after plains game on this trip, Kudu, Wildebeest, Zebra and such. Planning on taking the .300wtby. Been trying to find ammo 180gn partitions but have had no luck. Thinking Swift scirocco's or accubonds in the same weight i can get those. Might look at the Barnes TTSX rounds also. Would like some input.

I was in the same boat trying to find a round I could get. The Barnes shot great for my 300 and I could get them...winning for me.

Headed back over in '24 for me and the fam. For that long flight across the pond, put nyquil in 1 oz travel containers, after the dinner meal leaving the states have a couple beers and then down however much nyquil to knock you out. I'm a light weight with that stuff, 1 oz and I was out for a solid 10 hrs.

I went with Adansonia in 2007 and 2009- my first two trips over. You'll be fine.

I know you don't want my .02, but I'd pray about half my group ended dropping out before the trip. My 2007 trip had 14 with 12 hunters. I'll never do that again- ever !

Even Rx Ambien can't knock me down on those flights

I agree on no big groups! Biggest we had in 4 trips was 6 with 2 non hunters. My last trip in Sept 21 it was only of us!

                        Good advice here !
I usually kill a couple grey goose’s on short flights !
Gonna have to figure out how to sedate myself for the long flight.

                              Warthog

I'm not going to shoulder mount my warthog (assuming I get one). Debating between a euro and a tusk display. For those who've done one, what's your opinion?
