...Hard to believe that neither team had an extra base hit in a full 16 inning game.

That field played BIG all tourney.

The only long ball I saw was to the short porch in Left, and there were a ton caught at the warning track.

Who do you know? I played there in '97-'98. We all raised hell when they were gonna change the name, obviously to no avail

Coach Matlock does a great job. He's provided stability for the program. Just a hard place to recruit

Roy Garza, Ferny (can't remember his last name). Ferny hasn't been there this season, kind of miss him. We give the opposing team hell.
I think Derek does a great job, as well. He has brought in a couple from NY, Cali, and some great transfers (so far) this season. Was at the baseball dinner before the season started and he just tells it how it is, no sugar coating. Very refreshing.

Texas gets a much needed win over Sam Houston. They have 13 games at home coming up against some traditionally weaker programs so if they want to turn this season around the next two weeks will be crucial.

Good to see some offense tonight. Need to tighten up the defense. Texas has no real shortstop unfortunately so that may be a tough row to hoe..

I HOPE Mitchell Daley improves enough to grab ahold of that spot. He’s a really great dude, and I bet he’s working his tail off.

It’s busy season. Open house for Berk and a 2 hour softball practice to follow. Needless to say, I missed out on tonight’s game. I hope they can find their groove and Pierce can refrain from “Hearding” the bed in the process.

Well he has two Jrs in Daly and O’Dowd so he has to dethrone one of them to get a spot in the middle infield. He’s a freshman.
