Even more impressive is they were both combined. Only issue they are having is hitting. Team batting average really low so far.

Hope UTRGV has a good showing against UH. Apparently UH pitching is their weakest point. Vaqueros need some bats to wake up and get rid of the errors and they could be a decent team.

Who do you know? I played there in '97-'98. We all raised hell when they were gonna change the name, obviously to no avail

Coach Matlock does a great job. He's provided stability for the program. Just a hard place to recruit

I just about had my head taken off on a come backer down there, by All American DH, Dan Thomas. I’d swear it grazed my hair and then two-hopped the center field wall. Waaay back in 1977.
