Wide receiver Montana Lemonious-Craig is one of the highest-profile players to make the decision to leave Boulder. The junior made waves on Saturday by catching three passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns during the first spring game for coach Deion Sanders. One of those passes was a 98-yard score from transfer quarterback Shedeur Sanders. The 6-foot-2, 190-pounder from Inglewood, California, was the Buffaloes second-leading receiver last season with 23 catches for 359 yards and three touchdowns.
Fellow wide receiver Jordyn Tyson also announced Monday that he is hitting the portal after a successful first season in Boulder. Tyson finished last season as the top receiver on the roster with 470 yards on 22 receptions after joining the program from Allen (Texas) High School.
Deion Smith, last season's top running back, also entered the portal on Monday. The 6-foot, 190-pound senior led the team with 393 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns last season. He had 653 yards rushing and four rushing touchdowns during his four seasons with the Buffaloes.
"May not seem like much production compared to other schools. But, it was major production at Colorado."
It's a trainwreck IMO. You don't/can't build your roster in the spring. There aren't that many quality players in this cycle, it's just plugging a hole here and there for depth mainly. Either way, it will be entertaining

He did tell them to leave and he was bringing in replacements. Whether he does that or not this year who knows.

And most did the first go round I believe. I was just shocked so many did this cycle but I admittedly don't know what their numbers look like. All I know is they are going to be BAD again
The discussion this morning on the Horn was that their best players didn't want to go through a total rebuild from the ground up when they can transfer to a good team. Makes total sense. I mean...what would you do?

Prime sold out the season tickets for the first time in many years. So there is excitement which will generate revenue for this year at a minimum. That wasn’t happening before he went there.
Can he win and sustain it is the real question. Dicey situation as well starting his son at QB. He better play good.
