Looking for a spring turkey lease in TX. I'm an experienced turkey hunter and they are my primary passion; I chase these birds all over the US. I am a landowner myself (in Oklahoma) and I understand the importance of taking care of a persons property. I'm not looking to guide, not looking to sell hunts, not looking to profit in any way. Just want a place to hunt turkeys. I live north of DFW and something within 4 hours would be nice. I'll pay by the bird or I'll pay by the season or pay by the acre, that's up to you and what you think is fair. If I could bring my wife or 4 year old on occasion along with me that'd be fine. I am management minded, I'm not looking to fill every tag I have, my goal is something long term where the bird population is cared for and maintained; not wiped out. I don't want any year round lease, I'm not trying to take over any deer hunting, I just want the birds for 6 weeks a year.
