I will be rolling south to Big Wells(Dimmit County) here shortly. Hard to believe it’s been 10 years since Ashley’s passing. We love you princess!!!
A little history…This hunt was originally paid for by some extremely generous TBH’ers. The original idea was to be hunting in Africa until some extremely unfortunate events occurred. But as they say, things happen for a reason. I’ve made some life long friends as a result of the new plans and have had hunting success like I’ve never known before. The family that owns this ranch and the gentleman who runs it, are the type of people I strive to surround myself with. They’re pure gold!
Last year wasn’t as adventurous(tracking dogs required etc…) as some years past but it sure was a big success. As a matter of fact, there’s been success every year, and I hope to continue that this week.
I’ll be in a stand by 3 overlooking 5400 acres of South Texas brush. Here are some pics from last year and a few possible targets from this year.
