Headed out.

1 buck and 3 does for Kade this morning.

2 young bucks for me.

Headed to town to grab a few things. Hang some sets and back on a stand this evening.

We are back in killing trees this evening.

Kade is in the same stand he hunted this morning.

I swapped stands to a lock-on at a SE corner of a bean field. Major deer trail to my East running North & South.

SSE wind is blowing into the bean field. I really like this stand. This was the first stand I hung last year and I saw lots of deer here.

Moved some cameras around after we hunted this morning and got Kade a set hung for NW wind tomorrow.

Had a yearling to my SE in the timber right after getting settled in.

Lets see why happens this evening.

Well we both had good hunts this evening.

Kade had nice 8 @ 36 yards. Maybe 130”

I had a young 8 come down the main trail at last light and several deer in the bean field.

We ended our evening dealing with trespassers.
2 men with a 14 yr old boy claiming they had permission to access a property by walking thru my buddy’s property.

Cell cams don’t lie and it’s hard to lie to a guy that’s been friends with the landowner for 15 years.

It ended professionally with contacts exchanged good luck wishes to each other. More of a miscommunication or misunderstanding, I guess/hope.

Just finished getting groceries. Headed to unload everything at camp. Then to pick T up at the airport.

It’s been a whirlwind of a day.

No sir. I was at their truck when they got to it. No dead deer. And they didn’t know I was at their truck so I lm pretty sure they didn’t hide anything.
