Starting to see some movement. Just had this small 8 feeding on acorns.

Saw another deer waaay down the pipeline to my South.

Looked up to my South to see 2 does and a yearling standing in the middle of the pipeline @ 200 yards looking back my direction. Heads bobbing and alert.

3 does and 2 yearling broke out of the hardwoods from the opposite direction and stopped to exchange stairs.

Got my handy-cam up to snap some pics and as they walked off I caught movement behind them.

Low and behold, Bulldog was in hot pursuit.

It’s like this buck knows the women & kids aren’t hunting this week. Kade & I both agreed that we would save him for one of them.

He is a pretty buck. Long brow tine. His beams seem short but they turn way in. He is definitely a mature buck.

A couple more does just popped out on down the pipeline.

Looks like he has separated the does and yearlings.

He just ran all 3 does back across the pipeline.

Headed out. Had 2 more does come out and feed at 200 yards.

I’ll be back this evening with Talen. Date night got moved till Monday. I definitely have an awesome wife!!!

the time is near

Alright!!! Last evening hunt of the 2nd leg and we swapped gears for this one.
I just finished hanging a set at the end of my big lane where I watched 2 of our Target Management Bucks cross the last couple of days.

Talen is set up in his Krivoman with his bow looking over his feeder pen and Kade’s wife Kerri is set up in their box stand with a long gun, where I hunted this morning and saw The Bulldog.

Talen and I are looking to tag a doe or target buck, whichever gives the first shot and Kerri is hunting The Bulldog.

Wind has swapped to SW and it’s 82 degrees.
