Help with Youth draw hunts.

My little man turned 9 today and I’m wanting to apply for draw hunts. Which ones would y’all apply for. I’m very new to the draw hunt stuff

I did several hunts at Nannie Stringfellow WMA with the TYHP. The guys running that place are top notch. Tons of hogs to shoot at, but deer are thick in certain locations as well.

We hunted Kronkotsky, didn't see an animal one in three sits. One fawn was shot out of 5 hunters

This for sure. Just make sure he has his Hunters Ed for TYHP. I dont think he needs it for TPWD hunts.

My son hunted there as well. The way they were talking before our first sit, I was questioning myself because I wasnt sure I had enough coolers. Turns out I didnt need a cooler. We didnt see anything other than a fox. Beautiful country, but poor hunting.

The TPWD hunts are all random and the odds can be tough. My son has been applying since he was 9 (he's 16 now) and drew for the first time last year. So just pick a spot you want to go to and roll the dice.

He's hunted every year with THYP.

Cave Creek Mega Hunt is fun. About 80 kids and 15 ranches around Stonewall. Whitetail, Axis and anything else that shows up.

Concur. Been there 3x and don't think I've ever seen a person turned away on a hog hunt

Help with Youth draw hunts.

We’ve done a couple, neither disappointed.

Mason mountain was great for a spike/doe hunt with accommodations on site. You simply call and request once selected.

So far, he’s drawn 2 out of 3 years.
