    M A S H… Blood and Guts

The soldier injured on the motorcycle asked the reporter hanging around the 4077th to mention he was from Livingston, Tx in his next article. Anyone ever catch that?

I quit watching M A S H years ago with no real good reason. It was a good show though and that’s a cool catch on the Livingston thing. Thanks for sharing.

Did not see it. But I well say the first unit I joined was a National Gauard Unit. All I can say is don't get sick. You will have people fighting to provide you care.

        Good times.

Yep, he would fit right in with the media today.

He was just ahead of his time……

MASH is hands down the greatest sitcom series in history. Many close but none that good. I think its still a marker for sitcom audiences for its finale. Only Super bowls get higher ratings. Of course it’s probably been replaced by now with The Real Teen Moms of Beverly Hills or some crap since people are stupid now [emoji23]

I bet 99 percent of my TV watching is METv, Insp, and Grit haha. You can keep everything else.

Think about the population differences in America now vs then.

                        Reaction and AfterMASH

In the United States, the episode drew 105.97 million total viewers[5] and a total audience of 121.6 million,[6] more than both Super Bowl XVII and the Roots miniseries. The episode surpassed the single-episode ratings record that had been set by the Dallas episode that resolved the "Who Shot J.R.?" cliffhanger. From 1983 until 2010, "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen" remained the most watched television broadcast in American history,[2] passed only in total viewership (but not in ratings or share) in February 2010 by Super Bowl XLIV. It still stands as the most-watched finale of any television series,[5] as well as the most-watched episode.[7]

Anyone know where Radar O'Reilly was from?

The inspiration for the Radar O'Reilly character died this past April. He was a local legend around here in SE Iowa.
